The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Thursday, April 3, 1913
Mrs. N. L. Brookins died this morning at her home, 427 Pleasant street, at the 
age of 68 years.  She has been ailing for some time and was to her bed last 
Saturday.  The funeral arrangements were delayed waiting for the arrival of a 
son from Detroit.  A daughter and the husband also survive her.
