Ionia Daily Sentinel, 7 Apr 1911

The death of Miss Harriett Brookins, daughter of N.L. Brookins, occurred last
night at the hospital in Grand Rapids, where she was taken early in the week. 
Miss Brookins was a graduate of the Ionia high school and a young woman well
known and well liked.  She recently was census enumerator in the first ward. 
Her trouble was tuberculosis.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Highland Park Cemetery.]
