She had been an invalid for the past three years having suffered a stroke of paralysis which left her helpless. A few weeks ago she had a second stroke and since that time failed gradually until her death Saturday morning. She was the widow of John Brooks, whose death occurred nine years ago. Mrs. Brooks’ maiden name was Eunice Miner and she was born in Danby township Nov. 4, 1848. In 1867 she was married to Mr. Brooks and the couple settled on a farm in Danby where they lived until 1880 when they moved to the village. There is only one surviving child, a daughter, Miss Millie Brooks, who has been residing at home with her mother. There are two surviving brothers, William G. Miner, Portland, and N. E. Miner, of Grand Rapids. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the house. Rev. F. C. Vreeland who was formerly pastor of the Baptist church here, assisted Rev. John H.
