Died – At his home in Danby, Jan. 2d, 1882, Charles S. Brooks, a worthy member of 
Danby Grange No. 185.

At a regular meeting of Danby Grange No. 185, held Jan. 25th, 1882, the following 
resolutions were unanimously adopted:

Resolved, That in the death of Brother Brooks Danby Grange has lost one of its 
most valuable members, one who was ever ready to perform any work assigned to him.
