Brooks, 74, died Sunday morning at his home in Sebewa. Mr. Brooks was one of the early settlers of Sebewa, having been a farmer there until the last few years when failing health made it necessary for him to give up the hardships; since that time he has sold insurance. About a year ago he and his wife, together with another couple of Danby, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Towner, celebrated a double golden wedding. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Ray Petrie, and two sons, Ronald and Charles, all of Sebewa. The funeral was held from the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Reverent Beacock of the Methodist church officiating. Interment at the Danby cemetery.
