Maria Fox was born in New York, February, 1834, and died at the home of Geo. 
White east of the village, Dec. 1, 1913.  She was married in 1856 to John White, 
who died in 1880.  In 1890 she was married to Hiram Brooks, who with five 
children by the first marriage survive.  The funeral was held Wednesday morning 
from the home of Geo. White, conducted by Rev. Wm. Judd.  Music was furnished by 
Mesdames Bradt and Steadman.
