W. F. Kendrick, assisted by Rev. Charles Haywood, in charge. The interment took place in Oak Hill cemetery. Harry Charles, Luther DeHart, Otto Reis, Guy Connor, Temple Fouch, and William Haas were the bearers and Miss Lucy Cull and Mrs. Bert Underwood provided the music. Before coming to Ionia to live with her daughter, Mrs. Brooks lived in Saranac and was active in the ladies aid society of the Methodist Episcopal church, and a large number of these associates were here to attend the services.
