Ionia Sentinel Standard, 13 Jul 1964

George Addison Brooks, 81, died Sunday evening at his residence 458 Price street
where he had lived the past 20 years.  He was born May 13, 1883, son of Asa and
Mary Brooks, and was a painter by trade.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thane Lambertson of East Lansing, and Mrs.
Helen Howeth of Vista, Calif.; a son, James Brooks of Phoenix, Ariz.; five
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 o’clock Wednesday at Stone-Kaufman funeral home
with burial at Easton cemetery.
