The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, January 2, 1934


Frank Brooks, 53, a merchant of Clarksville, died Friday afternoon of cancer in 
the University of Michigan hospital at Ann Arbor.  Funeral services were held 
Monday afternoon in Clarksville.  

Surviving is his wife, Edna, four children, Mrs. Maurice Stebbins, of Ionia, 
Lyle Harold and Arland at home, his aged father, and one brother, Mr. Floyd 
Brooks, of Clarksville.  

Mr. Brooks was a resident of Saranac for several years, running a leather goods 
store there as well as in Clarksville.
