Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 20 Aug 1960

Christine E. Brooks, two-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Brooks, Jr. of
rural Ionia, died suddenly Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Ionia County Memorial hospital
after a short illness.  She was born August 23, 1957.

Surviving besides her parents are three sisters, Linda, Janet and Cathy, and two
brothers, Joe and Jimmie at home; her paternal grandfather, Howard Brooks, St.,
of Ionia and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Joe McGinness of Nelson, Neb.

Funeral service will be held at Myers funeral home Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev.
Paul Knaak, pastor of Lincoln Avenue Baptist church officiating.  Interment will
be at Tuttle cemetery.
