Lake Odessa Wave
      JEFF BROOKS
   Jeff Brooks, 72, of near Clarksville died early Wednesday morning, March 5 at the
Ionia County Memorial hospital after being a patient there since Saturday, March 1.  In poor health for
many years, he had only returned home from a stay in Ann Arbor a few months ago and then was taken to the
Eckert Nursing home for care until Saturday.
   He was born May 16, 1879, near Morrison Lake, where he spent all his life.
   His survivors are two sisters Clara Townsend and Irene Brooks, both of Morrison
Lake.
   Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Beattie funeral home in
Clarksville.  Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery in Lake O
