                          MORRIS HAROLD BROOKS

IONIA-Morris Harold Brooks, 61, of 4351 East Bluewater Highway, Ionia, died 
Sept. 27, in Orchard Hills Hospital, Belding.

The son of Howard and Esther Moore Brooks, he was b Jan. 7, 1925. He was a Navy 
Veteran of World War II and was employed by Caswell and Co. of Ionia, for 30 
years as an auto mechanic.

Surviving are two sons, Dennis Brooks of Rockford,Ill., and Jeffery Brooks of 
Ionia; two daughters, Mrs.Kevin (Terry) Carigon of Atlanta,Mich., and Deanna 
Brooks of Lake Odessa; four grandson five brothers, Howard Brooks Jr. of Warren. 
Melvin Brooks of Ionia, George Brooks of Stanton, Floyd Brooks of Ionia and 
Kenneth Brooks of Ionia, and several nieces and nephews.

Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held from the Montgomery Home's Main Street Chapel at 
11 a.m. Tuesday. with Rev. Larry Frye of Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church 
officiating.

Burial will be Tuttle Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 
8:30 p.m.
