Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 Feb 1979

George Deway Brooks of Sebring, Fla., formerly of Lake Odessa, died Saturday at
his residence.  He was born in Lake Odessa November 25, 1918.  He farmed in the
Lake Odessa area and has spent winter in Florida since 1957.

Survivors include wife, Beatrice of Sebring, Fla.; one son, Robert of Lake
Odessa; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence (ILene) Guilford of Lansing; six
grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel of Lake Odessa.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Lakeside Cemetery.]
