Henry Brovont Dies at Elkhart
Henry Ephraim Brovont, 91, of Goshen, Ind., passed away Tuesday morning, 
March 27, at Elkhart, Hospital after a severe stroke.

he was born in Medina County, Ohio on July 23,1818, the son of Joseph and 
Susannah (Price) Brovont. He married Leah Metzger on December 8, 1901. To 
this union was born three sons and one daughter. She  passed away April 6, 
1916.

On March 25, 1917 he married Ellen Metzger. To this union was born three sons 
and one daughter.

He was a farmer and thresher in this community till the scaring of 1944 when 
he moved to Goshen, Indiana.

He is survived by his widow and six sons, Ray of Nappanee, Ind. Walter of 
Lake Odessa, Laurence of Hastings, Howard, Eldo and Paul of Goshen, Ind.' two 
daughters, Mrs Lisle (Alma) Hoyes of Grand Ledge and Mrs Everett (Esther) 
Miller of Wakarusa, 56 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday at Wakarusa and burial at North Manchester, Ind.
