The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, September 27, 1941

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock for Hamilton 
Brower, 71, who died at his home in Saranac Friday after an illness of about 
six months.  Rev. J. Einger officiated at the services, which were held from 
the residence, and interment was at the Saranac cemetery.

He was born in Easton February 15, 1870, and married Lottie Whitby about 50 
years ago.  The couple lived on a farm in Boston township for many years, and 
moved to Saranac 24 years ago.

Surviving are the wife, Lottie; a daughter, Mrs. Fern Greene; a brother, Glenn 
Brower, of Hastings, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. C. E. Brower, and three 
grandchildren.
