Funeral services for Robert L. Brown, 51, will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Hammond-
Haas funeral home on five mile road in Detroit.  Graveside services will be at 
North Plains cemetery, north of Muir at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Mr. Brown was born in Pontiac, December 24, 1915 and died Friday at Lincoln 
Memorial hospital in Detroit after a lengthy illness.  He was the son of Mrs. 
Martha Bernhardt, former rural Muir resident.

An artist in graphic department at Ford Motor Co. for many years he was also a 
member of Scarab club of Detroit and a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife Mary; one daughter, Mrs. Judith Olenik; one son, George 
and one grandson.

Arrangements were made in Ionia by Boynton funeral home.
