Ionia County News, 16 Jun 1936

Funeral service for J.P. Brown, Lyons, who died Saturday, July 11, were held at
2:30 Monday afternoon from his late home.  Rev. Woolcock, of the Ionia Baptist
church, officiated and burial was in Lyons cemetery.  Mr. Brown was 75 years
old.  He was born in New York state and was about four years old when his
parents moved to Lyons.  He is survived by his widow, a son, Donald, living in
Detroit, and one brother, M.E. Brown, of Ionia.
