Rose Mary Brown, 73, of Ionia, passed away Friday, March 8, 2002.  She was born 
Oct. 28, 1928 in Harrison, the daughter of Alton L. and Bernice (Tew) 
Lautzenheiser.  She would go on to marry Marvin A. Brown Feb. 28, 1947, in 
Ionia.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Marvin A. Brown, of Ionia; son 
Douglas (Linda) Brown of Portland; daughters Diane (Dan) Kutchin of Redyard; 
Marian (Ron) Smith, of Cookville, Tenn., Carol (John) Warnes, of Lake Odessa, 
Barbara (John) Brown, of Gainsboro, Tenn., Ruth (Alex) Brown, of Ionia; one 
brother Robert (Nancy) Lautzenheiser of Saranac; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her 
parents and one sister Oura Fletcher.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lake Funeral 
Home, in Ionia.  Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Sunday 
7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Monday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the 
funeral home.
