The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, January 19, 1929

Mrs. Phoebe Brown, age 81 years, wife of Albert Brown, passed away at 11:20 
Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles McMannis, in Ionia 
township.  Besides her husband and daughter, she leaves one other daughter, 
Mrs. James Younger, of Ronald township, and many other relatives. 

Funeral services will be held at the McMannis home Tuesday afternoon at 2 
o’clock Eastern Standard time, with interment in Woodard Lake cemetery.
