The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, January 30, 1970

Adelbert L. Brown, 55, of Three Rivers, died Thursday at Bronson hospital in 
Kalamazoo.  He had lived there 20 years and worked for the department of 
commerce as weigh master 30 years.  He was born September 15, 1914 at Marion.

Surviving are a brother, Burton Brown of Pewamo; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy 
Mullins and Mrs. Cleda Sawyer of Portland; Mrs. Arlene Jaress of Seattle, 
Wash., and Mrs. Barbara Fitzpatrick of Grand Rapids.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Neller funeral home in 
Portland.  Rev. Donald Cozadd of Portland United Methodist church will 
officiate and interment will be at Portland cemetery.  A memorial has been 
established for the heart fund.  Bearers will be William Foster, Earl Keller, 
William Myrkle, Cyril Trubiroha, Joseph Tyron and Allen McCotter.
