D. Earl Brown, 66, died at his home in Corona, California, Saturday morning, 
March 9.  He was born in Keene township, September 30, 1875, and was a graduate 
from the Saranac high school.  For many years he was a jeweler in Sandpoint, 
Idaho, and then later moved to Corona, where for the past few years he has been 
failing in health.  His last visit in Saranac took place last summer when he 
returned to visit his mother, Mrs. Janie Brown.

Surviving are the widow, Florence, one son, Douglas, at home, his mother, Mrs. 
Janie Brown, one brother, Robert Brown, and a sister, Mrs. Grace Darrow, all of 
Saranac.

Funeral services will be held from the home of the mother and interment will be 
in the Saranac cemetery.  The body is being shipped by rail Saturday and 
further funeral arrangements will be announced on Monday.
