Ionia Sentinel Standard, 8 May 1978

Services for Arthur E. Brown, 79, of Ionia, were held Saturday afternoon from
First United Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Hausermann officiating.  Organist
was Mrs. Marie Rosecrance.  Bearers were grandsons, Stephen Beach, Craig and
Scott Brown, Brian and David Nobles, James Peters and Paul Hoffman.  Burial was
in Balcom cemetery.

Attending services in a group were members of the Masonic Lodge and the Ionia
OES.  Luncheon was served to family and friends after services in the church
dining facility.
