Ionia Standard, 18 Jul 1890

Reuben Brown, who was buried in Otisco on Saturday last, from the residence of 
his son County Treasurer Brown, was 74 years of age, and had been a resident of 
Ionia county for 23 years.  Besides his son, he leaves two other children, Mrs. 
Wm. Fulton of Carson City, and Mrs. Charles Dumont of Smyrna.  He was an 
invalid, and very feeble the last eight years of his life.
