John E. Brown died at his home, 372 State street, this morning at 12:45.  He 
had been in poor health since last July but only confined to his bed the past 
week.  Funeral announcements later.

The funeral for John E. brown, who died at his home, 372 State street, this 
morning will be held from the residence at 2:30 Saturday afternoon.  Rev. A. R. 
Mitchell will officiate.  Burial in Oak Hill cemetery.
