She was born at Chadwick in Orleans township and had lived in Belding for the past 60 years. She was the widow of Arthur H. Brown, Belding wallpaper and paint contractor. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Belding. Burial was at River Ridge cemetery. Survivors included five daughters, Mrs. Jay Outman, Mrs. Ray Wells, Mrs. George Brodene, all of Belding; Mrs. Robert Moore of Cadillac and Mrs. Thomas Bramblett of Knoxville, Tenn.; three sons, 24 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Herman Hazelitt of Palo and a brother Murray Wilbur of Woods Corners.
