Sentinel-Standard - Monday, July 22, 1935

Ira C. Brown, formerly Portland rural mail carrier, was buried at Portland 
cemetery Saturday afternoon, following funeral services at his home, where he 
died Thursday. Mr. Brown was born in Portland 59 years ago and June 28, 1899, 
was married to Miss Eva Schofield. Surviving him are the widow and four 
children, Cecil of Detroit; Boyd of Charlotte; Edgar and Edla, of Portland.
