Thomas Brown died Dec. 21, of paralysis at the age of 84 years, Mr. Brown came from
England when but 30 years of age and settled in Fairplains township near Fenwidk. He
has lived fifty-four years in this vicinity.

FENWICK
Thomas Brown, an old resident of this place, died at his nephew's S. R. Brown, Dec.
21, at the age of 83 years. He had been a resident of Montcalm county for 54 years. He was
known as an honest christian man and will be missed by all who knew him. The funeral
services were held at the M. E. Church Sunday, Dec. 24, burial at Clear Lake
Cemetery.
