Sentinel-Std. - Monday, Sept. 25, 1950

Mrs. Anna P. Brown, 86, of Lyons, died at the home of her niece, Mrs. George 
Benedict, of Lyons Sunday at 9:45 p.m. after a lingering  illness. She had 
been a lifelong resident of Lyons and Ionia townships. 

She was born in Portland township Oct. 1, 1864, and married J. Prescott 
Brown in 1892. He preceded her in death in 1936.

Surviving are a son, Don H. Brown; one sister, Mrs. Nick Pahl, of Mt. 
Pleasant; and one brother, William Pung of Pewamo.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Shaw-Rivett funeral 
home in Muir with the Rev. Myron Hoyt officiating. Interment will be in 
Lyons cemetery.
