Montgomery Webster of Ionia has received word of the death of S. C. L. Brown, 
75,of Long Beach, Calif. Easter morning, April 13.

Brown, well known in Ionia, ran the Bailey House, a hotel located where the 
Ionia  Theater now stands for many years.

Surviving him are the wife, Edith, and a son, Spencer, both of Long Beach.
