Sentinel-Std. - Monday, Sept. 12, 1988

SUNFIELD - Leonard E. Brown, Sr. 62, of 244 First Street, Sunfield, died Sept. 
8, at St. Lawrence Hospital, Lansing.

Born Dec. 8, 1925 in Lansing, he was the son of Sidney and Hildred Peabody 
Brown. He attended Figg School and was graduated from Sunfield High School and 
lived all but nine years of his life in the Sunfield area.

He was a air tool repairman for Oldsmobile, retiring after 30 years in September 
1985.

Surviving are a son, Leonard Jr.; two daughters, Susan J. Price of Lake Odessa 
and Tracey I. Brown of Mulliken; six grandchildren; his mother, Hildred Hynes of 
Lake Odessa and a sister, Edna Teachout of Milliken. 

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the Mapes-Fisher Funeral Home, 
Sunfield.

Burial will be in Sunfield Cemetery.

A memorial for the American Heart Foundation of Michigan has been established in 
care of the funeral home.
