Brown, was called also to pass to the great beyond last Monday morning after a brief illness of about three days of congestion of the lungs following an attack of a cold the past two weeks. She was 1 yr. 7 months and 3 days old, old, and naturally was the pride and joy of both father and mother both from their affliction in the less of their other four children and also in her being their only girl baby. All four grandparents feel deeply the affliction as well, also the other near relatives and the many warm friends of the family. No words can cheer the hearts of those who so deeply mourn, nor tongue can tell the heartfelt grief. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the house on north sixth avenue, conducted by Elder Stone of Woodbury, and among those from away were Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Davis of Harbor Beach, parents of Mrs. Brown, also her brother, Clayton J. Davis, her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Myers of Freeport, Mr. Brown's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Brown of Grand Rapids and his two sisters Mrs. E. F. Mercer and husband of Flushing and Mrs. E. E. Huff and husband of Alma, besides other relatives and friends from and around Woodbury, their former home. Additional Comments: CARD OF THANKS We desire to express our heartfelt thanks, to all the niehgtbors and friends who gave us such kind assistance during our recent affliction in the sickness and death of our little one, and also to those who brought flowers and to all.
