                                 GEORGE W. BROWN

George W.Brown, 78, died Saturday evening at the home of Mrs.Molly F.Thompson, 
758 Root St., where he had made his residence for the past year.

Mr.Brown was born April 4, 1881, at Fenwick, the son of Steve Brown and Minnie 
Johnson Brown.

He farmed most of his life, working in factories for short periods of time.

He was a former member of the Odd Fellow Lodge at Fenwick.

Survivors are Mrs. Cellie Brown, Ionia; daughter, Mrs.Robert Holland, Chicago; 
two brothers,Jay of Grand Rapids, and Thad of Manistee; four grandchildren and 
one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, 2 pm, at Ellis Funeral Home.

Burial was in Clear Lake Cemetery, Rev. Rebentisch officiating.
