                                   ORVILLE BROWN

Orville Brown, age 74, died May 22 in Oxnard,Calif.

Born in Eagle, Mich. Mr. Brown has lived in California for the past 25 years. 
Before that he was with the consumers Power co.of Grand Rapids. His wife, Fern, 
was the daughter of Belding residents,Mr and Mrs.Frank J.Davis (both deceased).

Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs.Donald F. Hegle, Battle 
Creek, Mrs. Alfred Harmon and Mrs.John Scullion, both of Grand Rapids; 12 
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Mr.Brown will arrive at Huffman FuneralHome early Thursday morning and services 
will be held there at 3 p.m. Thursday (today) with the Rev.Ralph Dean,Pastor of 
Central Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in River Ridge Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Bussell, Richard Bussell, Carl Henry, Wesley held, 
Gordon Brown and Herman Groenefeld.
