   Excerpts from Ionia Obituary

      WALTER CECIL BROWN II

Died October 19, 2025 - age 81, of Mulliken.
Born November 26, 1943 in Ionia, Son of Walter C. & Lorraine (Bowers)Brown Sr.
Walt went to School in Ionia graduating with the class of 1961.
He married Judith Ann Shattuck on June 15, 1962 in Ionia, she preceded him in 
death July 24, 2020, after almost 63 years of marriage.
Walt loved to Hunt, Fish, Bowl & played Softball well into his 60's.
Surviving are his children, Walter C (Coleen) Brown III, Connie (Mike) Cleary of 
Apache Junction,AZ, Tammy (Troy) Philips of Saranac, John (Marie) Brown of Ionia 
& Nadias Brown of Ionia, 20 grandchildren & several great-grandchildren.
Sibling's, Yvonne Beebe of Bridgeport, TZ, Terry (Ruth) Brown of Sheridan & Mary 
Rogers of Farwell.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife Judith, grandsons Michael & Alex & 
brothers, Rex, Jerry & Dennis & sister Shirley Barber.
Funeral services will be held at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Friday, 
October 24 at Noon.
Interment to follow at Tuttle Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 10am until time of services at Noon.
Those wishing may make a memorial contribution to Walt's Family.
