RICHARD "DICK" NORMAN BROWN

Died March 18, 2026-age 83 of Portland.
Born January 9, 1943 in St.Johns, son of Norman & Mary (Torok)Brown.
Married Mary Lue (Schneider) on July 13, 1968.
Retired from General Motors after 37 years of service.
Dick was a longtime member of the St.Patrick Catholic Church, Portland.
He prayed rosaries & made over 30,000 rosaries to give away to others to use.
Dick loved baseball, he began coaching little league even before his sons were 
born.
He had a love for travel, including Alaska & Hawaii.His most cherished journey 
was to the Holy Land.
He had a special love for people especially children,
Survived by his wife, Mary Lue, sonsScott (Sharon) Brown, Eric (Carol) Brown, 
Randy (Niki) Brown, Jason (Sara) Brown,
Grandchildren,Alana, Sydney, Peyton, Ally(Will,Jared, Julia, Sam, Logan, Connor, 
Aubrey, Rachel, & Jocelyn.
Siblings, Patricia Baldwin, Ronald (partner,Karen) Brown, Dennis (Suzi) Brown & 
Karen Brown.
In-laws, Betty Brown, Joane Platte, Judy (Clare) Koenigsknecht, Dennis (Ann) 
Schneider, Ken(Karen) Schneider, Ed (Janice) Schneider, Kay (Kathy( Schneider, 
Frank(Rose) Schneider, Patrick(Ann Marie) Schneider, Kevin (Teresa) Schneider.
Many special friends, nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother Gary Brown, Father & Mother-in-law, 
Richard & Marian Schneider & brother-in-law, Armon Platte.
Visitation is Monday, march 23, 2026 from 2-8 p.m. at the Lehman Funeral Home, 
210 E.Bridge street, Portland.
Rosary will be prayed at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Mike Alber at 11:00 a.m., 
Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at St.Patrick Catholic Church, Portland.
Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fr.Flohe Foundation or the Al and 
Karla Schrauben Fund in honor of Dick.
