   IONIA SENTINEL-STANDARD, page 2:  "Obituaries - Clee F. Brown; IONIA - Clee
F. Brown, 85, of Ionia died Wednesday morning, June 19, 1996 at the home of his
niece.
   He was born Oct. 11, 1910 in North Plains Township, the son of William and
Lillie (Heydlauff) Brown.  He attended Hayes School and North Plains Church.  He
retired in 1975 as a crane operator at Extruded Metals of Greenville.  He
married Edith Beadle Aug. 16, 1975 and she preceded him in death June 22, 1994.
   He is survived by two nephews:  Philip Townsend of Lake Placid, Fla. and
Herbert Brown of St. Johns, Mich.; and three nieces:  Mrs. William O'Bery of
Ionia, Louise Kline of Mancelona, Mich., and Doris Klots of Lakeland, Fla.
   Visitation will be today from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 p.m. to 4
p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir.  Funeral
services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at North Plains Community Church with Rev.
Robert Jourdan and William Vincent officiating.  Burial will be in the North
Plains Cemetery, of which he was sexton for over 40 years.
   A memorial fund for the Ionia Area Hospice has been set up and may be left at
the Hull Memorial Chapel."
