The Hastings Reminder, Tuesday, September 18, 1990
Elmer Howard Brown, 84 of 1615 Tupper Lake Street, Lake Odessa, passed away 
Monday, September 3, 1990 following a lengthy illness.  Mr. Brown was born 
October 13, 1905 in Flint, the son of Oscar and Minnie (Mickle) Brown.  He 
attended schools in Flint.  He was married to Vincien Buttas, December 31, 
1937 in Grand Rapids.  He was a farmer and also worked for American District 
Telegraph for 19 years, lived in Grand Rapids, Detroit, Flint, Lansing and 
Sarasota, Florida before moving to Lake Odessa in 1985.  

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife; one stepdaughter, nieces and nephews.  He 
is preceded in death by one brother.

Cremation has taken place.  There will be no services or visiting hours.  
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Odessa Ambulance Service.  
Arrangements were made by the Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa.
