He was born in Montcalm county northeast of Palo, August 14, 1930, the son of Lloyd and Goldie Musser Brown. June 16, 1950 he was married to Jenice Hart in Ionia. He attended Ionia high school and worked in the maintenance department of Smith-Inland and its predecessors 15 years prior to suffering a stroke 4½ years ago. For the past 20 years he did part-time farming at his present residence. Surviving besides his wife are grandmother, Mrs. Pearl Musser, and mother, Mrs. Goldie Brown of Palo; four sisters Mrs. Ferris Dickinson, Mrs. Keith Woodbury, Mrs. Frederick Rowley of Palo and Mrs. Robert Nagy of Ionia. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Boynton-Leddick funeral home with Rev. John Hadley of Lincoln Avenue Baptist church officiating. Interment will be in Palo cemetery.
