IONIA- Odie L. Brown, 84, of 407 Pleasant street, died late Friday evening 
at the Ionia Manor, where she'd been a patient for the past two-and-a-half 
years.

Born in Oxly, Missouri, March 30, 1893, she was daughter of Thomas and 
Cynthia Hage Roundtree. She married Elmer D. Brown in 1909, and the made 
their home on a farm near Naylor, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 
1957.

She came to Ionia in 1974 to make her home with daughter Jewell Kenny of 
Pleasant street. 

Surviving are two sons, Vadis of Clifton, Colorado, and Marvin of Kalamazoo; 
two daughters, Mrs. Gerald Kenny of Ionia and Mrs. Clarence Hawks of Naylor, 
Missouri.

She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a 
daughter, Irene Prall of Ionia, preceded her in death in 1963.

Services will be Tuesday afternoon in Naylor, Missouri, with interment at 
Antioch cemetery in Oxly, Missouri.

A memorial has been established for the Ionia Manor Arts and Crafts fund.

Arrangements in Ionia are by Leddick funeral home.
