Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, June 8, 1965

Mrs. Lillie M. Brown, 91, of 215 South Jefferson died Monday evening in 
Ionia County Memorial hospital.

She was born in Richmond, Ind., February 16, 1874, daughter of James and 
Polly Milton in 1892 was married to Lincoln Hayes. She later married Harry 
C. Brown who died several years ago.

Mrs. Brown was a member of First Christian church and Mrs. Preston's Sunday 
school class. 

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harry Pierce of Niles two grandchildren 
and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 Thursday afternoon at Stone Kauffman 
funeral home with interment at Oak Hill cemetery.

Funeral services for Lillie M. Brown, 91, of 215 South Jefferson, were 
Thursday at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. James W. Kendall of First Christian 
church officiating. She died Monday evening at Ionia County Memorial 
hospital.

Interment was at Oak Hill cemetery. Out of town guests were Mrs. Harry 
Pierce of Niles and Mrs. Sidney Noles of Grand Rapids. Members of Mrs. 
Preston's Sunday school class also attended.
