Mr. Brown was born in the township in which he died, March 25, 1857, and has always been a resident there, he was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Brown both of whom survive him. On July 3, 1887 he was united in marriage to Miss Emma Luick, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Luick. Two children, Daisy aged 10, and Roy aged 2 years with the mother are left to mourn for him. The funeral was held Tuesday at the M. E. church, Rev. R. J. Slee conducting the services. Mrs. John Luick, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Luick, Mrs. Ed Riker, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Tuttle, Mr. and Mrs. James Gore and Mr. and Mrs. James Parkes of this city attended the funeral.
