Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 5 Jun 1919

George Hardie Brown, who was so badly hurt on the evening of April seventh as he
was acting as brakeman on a P.M. freight, died Wednesday noon at the Sparrow
hospital, where he was taken directly after the accident, and where he has been
ever since.  During this time he has submitted to two or three operations, from
the last one of which he failed to recover, dying of shock.  The funeral will be
held at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ena Brown, at 516 High street at
one o’clock Saturday afternoon, and at the Shiloh church at two.  Rev. E.E.
Branch will have charge of the services and the interment will be in Clear Lake
cemetery.

the cemetery record is Gilbert.)
