Ionia Sentinel Standard, 31 Jan 1966

Paul M. Brown, 64, of route three, gasoline and oil distributor in Ionia 30
years, died suddenly Sunday afternoon in Ionia County Memorial hospital.  He was
born in Fairplains township, Montcalm county, November 2, 1901, and in 1920 was
married to Velma Brown who died in 1956.  He was married to Juanita Butters in
1958.

Mr. Brown was a member of the board of directors of Kent County Conservation
club, and a member of Ionia County Fishing and hunting club.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Laviolette of
Ionia and Mrs. Dorothea Daniels of Grand Rapids; also a step daughter, Pat Brown
at home; and one grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan
with burial at Balcom cemetery.  The Rev. Lester C. Bailey will officiate.  The
family will meet with friends and relatives from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday
evenings at the funeral home.
