Floyd Andrew Brown Sr., 55, of Portland, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2007. 
He was born on October 4, 1951 in Grand Ledge, the son of Thomas and Esther 
(Loper) Brown. Floyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, fixing cars, and always staying 
busy except for his daily bubble baths.

He was a tool and die maker for 30 years, more recently at Dura Corp in 
Gladwin. Floyd loved his children and grandchildren and was a good friend to 
all.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Esther; brother, Amos; and sister, Bea. 
He is survived by his father, Thomas Owen Brown of Curtis; daughter, Tina 
(Matt) Robertson of Lyons; son, Floyd "Andrew" (Sue) Brown Jr. of Lyons; 
grandchildren, Marc, Zach, Wynter, and Anna; stepchildren, Mike and Amy 
Abbott; sisters, Mary Ogeo Donna Lilly and Cindy; brother, Thomas Brown Jr.; 
his dog and faithful companion, Dixie; and his former wives, Judy Lilly and 
Patti Wright.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2007 at the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. The family will 
receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday.
