The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, May 19, 1919


Mrs. Bessie A. Brown, age 87, wife of William H. Brown, died at the home at 
440 Front Street on Sunday noon. The funeral services will be held on Tuesday 
at 3 o’clock at the Bradley mortuary.  Rev. Wheelock will officiate.  The 
interment will be in the Lyons cemetery.  Mrs. Brown is survived by six 
children, several brothers and many other relatives.

Subsequent Publication:  Wednesday, May 21, 1919

The funeral for Mrs. Bessie A. Brown was held on Tuesday at 3 o’clock at the 
Bradley mortuary, John W. Young of the I.H.A. Mission having charge of the 
service.  The music was furnished by Mrs. Young, Mrs. Parr, Mrs. Mitchell and 
Mrs. Luscher.  The bearers were Edgar J. Green, William Martin, Fred Wheelock, 
and Jacob Luscher, and the interment was in the family lot in the Lyons 
cemetery.
