Belding Banner - Wednesday  May 8, 1974

                                 ANAMARA BROWNE

Funeral services were held Friday, May 3, for Mrs. Anamara Browne, 86, of 
Belding, at the Charles M.Courser Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred P.Miller 
officiating. Burial was in River Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Browne died May 1 at 
Christiansen's Nursing Home in Greenville.

A life area resident, Mrs.Browne was born in Montcalm County, July 24, 1887, the 
daughter of Charles and Fanzina VanVickel Moore. She was married to Orlando 
Browne in 1949.

Mrs. Browne was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belding, OES Doric 
Chapter 75 of Belding, the Royal Neighbors and the Blue Star Mothers.

Surviving are 2 daughters,Mrs.Earl (Elizabeth) Belyou of Fenwick and Mrs.Kenneth 
(Adeline) Otis of Vicksburg; one son, Rev. Charles Browne of Baltimore; 2 
sisters, Mrs.Duicie Tingley of Belding and Mrs.Helen Lanzing , of California; 2 
brothers, Alfred Moore and Robert Moore of Belding; 14 grandchildren and 22 
great-grandchildren.
