Nov. 24, 2012 Vicky Mae Leonard-Brownell, 68, of Palo, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 17, 2012. She was born May 28, 1944 in Ionia county to Oval and Marie Leonard. She was raised in Palo, and attended Ionia High School. She was employed at Ore-Ida Foods in Greenville, and later at Amway Corporation on Ada until she moved to Florida with her husband George Brownell. She lived and worked as a secretary at Country Air Village in Zephyr Hills for 18 years, until she retired to Dade City. She enjoyed spending time with her children and family. She was a member of Pasadena Baptist Church of Dade City. She was preceded in death by sons Jeffery Allen Smith and George Brownell, Jr. both of Michigan, and her parents. She is survived by her husband George of Dade City; sons Timothy (Ann) Smith, and Bryan Smith, and daughter Kimberly Miller, all of Michigan; siblings Zoeanne Toth, Mary (Dean) Perry, Becky (Nick) Waddel, and Walter Leonard, all of Florida, Skip (Donna) Leonard of Palo, Mike Leonard of Lansing, Ruth (Terry) Brown of Hastings, Kitty (Steve) Hopkins of Greenville, and Julie (Bill) Lawrence of Rockford - all in Michigan. She also has several nieces and nephews, and several grandchildren in Michigan. Celebration of her life was Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Pasadena Baptist Church in Dade City, Florida.
