Brownfield died at the residence of his granddaughter, Mrs. Geo. Ravell at Ravell’s mill, Sunday morning aged 78 years. He was born in Indiana and has resided with his grand-daughter for some time. The funeral was held at the house Tuesday, Rev. J. W. Sheehan pastor of the M. E. church conducting the service. His remains were placed in the cemetery at Green’s church. The only relatives of the family left are three grand children, Mrs. Geo. Ravell of Orleans, Mrs. Mary Bunnell of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Bennie Heminway of Kansas City, Mo.
