She was born August 1, 1879, near Howard City as Cora Nold, daughter of Henry and Abigale Nold She came to Belding 33 years ago from Morley and was employed in the Belding Brothers silk mill. Her husband, Charles Bruff, died 38 years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Flossie I. Bruff of Alameda, Calif., and Mrs. Maurice McNaughton of Lansing; a son, Henry L. Bruff of Belding; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. George Baker of Toledo, O.; and two brothers, Charles Nold of Flint and Sylvester Nold of Marion, Ind. The body was removed to the Ellis funeral home. Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
