John Bryans, 53, Was Buried Last Week

Funeral services for John Bryans, 53, at the Leonard funeral home at Hastings, 
Wednesday at 2 p.m. Mr. Bryans passed away at his Carlton township home on 
Saturday after bring hospitalized at Pennock hospital for two weeks and was 
released the day of his death.

He had been an employee of the Barry County Road Commission for 14 years and had 
worked at the W.W. Bliss company for about 10 years.

Surviving are his wife, the former Velma Strimback; five daughters, three sons, 
nine grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Dale (Winnie) Shetterly and Mrs. 
Bernard (Mary) Herbert of Lake Odessa, Ms. Ralph (Grace) Walton of Freeport and 
Mrs. Max (Ione) Strachan of Muir.

Rev. Russell Houseman officiated and burial was in the Fuller cemetery, Barry 
county.
